Teej is a very important day for women. In my view teej is the day when women celebrate for the long life of husband. Teej makes my mother very happy. Teej is very famous festival among all the Neplease.
In teej women dance and sings a lot.
Telling " Teeja ko rahara aayi bari lai "and others. It adds more flavour to the value of teej. My mother also dance a lot in teej with my sister aunt and other relatives. In teej all women were sari and get ready with high makeup. The all women looks very gorgeous.
The all women get ready with red colour sari because teej means the colour of red. There was an program in our locality in Shifal the program of teej. Our school gave us holiday for 3 Days. In teej the first day is called"DAR KHANE DIN". We went to mama house and ate dar. In dar khane din all of our family members especially the women married and unmarried gather at one place in their finest outfits of red and start dancing and singing songs mixed with dohori. Women goes Fasting in this day . They worship Lord Shiva and spent the rest day singing and dancing.
This day is becoming more existing and more celebrated in whole world......
